01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
The aosa seaweed and new onion focaccia offers pleasure from its first aroma through to the first bite. One diner describes noticing the seaweed’s fragrance first, followed by the sweetness of the new onion. Another visit brought a taste of both seaweed and onion focaccia and tomato focaccia, making it appealing to choose a few with different toppings. For something more substantial, focaccia is also available as a sandwich.
For a sweet treat to take away, try a maple biscuit or Engadiner, a walnut tart. One diner found the maple biscuit crisp and distinctly sweet with maple; another enjoyed reheating the bottom half after breaking it in two. The Engadiner pairs a crisp tart shell with sweet, caramelised walnuts. Choose the maple biscuit to have with tea, or the Engadiner for a slower moment with a sweet bake.
The croissant is another option: diners have described it as crisp, while one was surprised by its chewy texture. There is no eating in, so everything is for take-away. Coffee is also available to take with your bread or baked treats. Payment is cash only.
